The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has launched an investigation into a confrontation involving Vehicle Inspection Office (VIO) officials and commercial motorcyclists in the Life Camp area of Abuja.
The incident, which occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17, 2026, happened during enforcement of the ban on commercial motorcyclists using major roads and routes across the FCT.
