The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has declared the party’s readiness to secure massive votes from the North-Central region for President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election.
Yilwatda made the declaration on Saturday during a grand endorsement rally for Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
He said the region was prepared to support the President’s re-election bid in appreciation of what he described as his unprecedented contributions to the North-Central.
According to the APC chairman, the region’s support would be demonstrated through votes for Tinubu and the ruling party during the forthcoming election.
“North-Central stands with Mr President. North-Central appreciates Mr President,” Yilwatda said.
He added that Tinubu had done what no previous president had done for the region, expressing confidence that residents would reciprocate by supporting his second-term ambition.
“ We will stand with him, we will vote for him, and we will support the APC because of President Tinubu,” he said.
Yilwatda further assured the President that the North-Central would deliver massive votes in the 2027 elections.
The rally forms part of political activities surrounding Tinubu’s re-election bid ahead of the 2027 general elections.
