Barcelona forward Raphinha has been given Brazil’s iconic No. 10 shirt following Neymar’s departure from international football.
The Confederation of Brazilian Football confirmed that Raphinha will wear the number during the Selecao’s upcoming friendly matches in Oceania and Asia.
The shirt carries a significant legacy in Brazilian football, having previously been worn by several of the country’s renowned players, including Neymar.
Neymar ended his international career after representing Brazil at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, paving the way for Raphinha to take over the famous number.
Raphinha has established himself as an important attacking player for Brazil and will now begin the next chapter of his international career wearing the shirt previously associated with Neymar.
Brazil have also handed their No. 9 shirt to Real Madrid forward Endrick for the upcoming fixtures.
Endrick takes over the number from Matheus Cunha, who was not included in the squad for the current international window.
