President Bola Tinubu has approved the timetable for the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential campaign ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Under the approved schedule, the party’s Presidential Campaign Council will be inaugurated on October 14, while the campaign will officially commence on October 24 in Kaduna State.
The Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, Abdul’aziz Yari, disclosed this after meeting with Tinubu.
In a statement, the Secretary of the Campaign Council, Governor Hope Uzodimma, confirmed the dates, adding that the party’s leadership was united in its preparations for the President’s re-election bid.
Uzodimma said the party’s leadership was committed to conducting a responsible campaign aimed at securing Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
The planned inauguration and campaign flag-off mark key steps in the APC’s preparations for the forthcoming presidential election.
The party is expected to intensify its mobilisation efforts following the commencement of campaign activities.
