Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Oluseyi Boluwatife Babaseyi, has been bereaved following the death of Ama Ajayi Aimenoho, the woman who raised him as a mother.
Mama Aimenoho, who hailed from Edo State, died this afternoon at the age of 86.
She took responsibility for raising DSP Babaseyi after the death of his biological mother more than two decades ago.
Her death is described as a great loss to DSP Babaseyi, his younger siblings and the entire family.
A wake-keep will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at her residence, while her remains will be laid to rest on Thursday, September 17, according to Christian rites.
The Assistant to the PPRO, Mustapha Asade, has expressed his condolences to DSP Babaseyi and the entire family, praying God to give them the strength to bear the loss.
